Photography started as a hobby in December 2002 thanks to Anna Kournikova. Front row seats to her exhibition game against Monica Seles and armed with a simple point and shoot. Results: disappointing. Most photos were blurred or too dark. This started my desire to find out how to capture the perfect image and vow never to do that again.
A few months later I was introduced to my first film SLR "Elan". An anniversary gift from my girlfriend. My hobby quickly turned into a passion and opened my eyes to new perspectives at everyday life. But the hobby is an expensive one and my growth was limited by the costs of film developing.
Two and a half years later after, I receive a surprise birthday gift from family and friends. A digital SLR. Now the real fun begins...
